Kick the Sugar Habit!
Sugar is one of the worst toxins that we're all exposed to. Most of us are unknowingly consuming 3-4 times the recommended daily amount!
I always knew that sugar was bad for me, but I never knew quite how bad. Then I started to learn things like:
- The average American consumes over 130 lbs per year where our ancestors consumed less than 5lbs!
- Kids can very easily consume more than adults because sugar is hidden.
- Sugar weakens our immune system.
- Sugar leads to weight gain.
- Sugar depletes us of essential nutrients.
- Sugar causes wrinkles.
- Sugar causes chronic systemic inflammation.
- When sugar spikes - cortisol spikes which leads to increases blood pressure, bigger mid section, poor skin.
- Sugar can damage your heart, contribute to cancer, promotes belly fat, increases blood pressure and cholesterol, autoimmune disease, asthma, faster aging, deficiencies in overall cognitive health/memory.
