Winter air can be brutal to our skin! Dry, itchy, chapped, skin that can split open and be super painful is no fun!

This is our first year living in an area that gets a real winter! We moved from Southern California to North Idaho and the difference in our skin is noticeable!

In addition to the DIY lotion I make for our daily use, I went on the hunt for some great skin care products that protect our skin, help it heal and are non-toxic.

Here are my faves!!

Earth Mama Organics

Earth Mama Organics sent me a tube of Organic Baby Face Nose & Cheek Balm to try. I used this product everywhere that was dry and/or cracked and it worked like a charm!

This balm is like a really thick ointment. I love that it’s all natural ingredients with nothing artificial and no fragrance.

At only $9.99 a tube, it’s a steal! Get it here.

Weleda

I was introduced to Weleda brand a couple years ago and immediately fell in love with their Skin Food lotion.

Skin Food has calendula and chamomile in it which are both soothing to skin. It has a nice light citrusy smell, but no ‘fragrance’.

This lotion is very thick so a little bit goes a LONG way. I have a tube in my purse, my bathroom, my kitchen, and my daughter’s backpack.

A 2.5 ounce tube is around $10. Get it here.

SanRe Organics

SanRe is an all natural and organic skin care line developed by two women, Sandra and Regina. I was sent several samples of this amazing line of skin care products.

My two favorite face creams are the C-Love and Shaded Rose. Shaded Rose is a healing facial cream that is perfect for irritated skin/psoriasis and/or eczema prone skin. You can get with or without SPF.

C-Love is a cream made with real Vitamin C which is great for restoring and rejuvenating skin. It also had an energizing citrus scent.

I hope you find these items helpful!
